Idk, i feel like games like that (especially "horror" themed games) put me on edge much more, because it's not like a movie. We Happy Few We All Fall Down - CODEX + Update v6 Free Download Torrent We Happy Few We All Fall Down - the third and final plot addition for We Happy Few. i just wasnt expecting it XD my friend and i probably paused the game and freaked out for about 10 minutes before we picked it back up again XD Yeah i hear you on all of this (i'll admit, games startle me WAY more than they should) i'm not usually frightened necessarily by the bosses/baddies, but usually it's things i dont expect XD like, the first time i played through Shadow of the Colossus, i lost it when i came to Dirge (the "sand snake" as i call him) once i figured out that you were supposed to ride your horse around and let him follow you, i turned to fire an arrow at his face when suddenly there was this gaping maw coming out of the sand. Worth the money, if you can get past the dated Dark2 graphics engine. As long as the enemy is heard enough and you never know where they are. You can still get a game that will make you piss your pants. It still causes a few uncomfortable dreams after i play it, despite the dated graphics. IT was not scary per say, but holy shit it gave me nightmares. System shock 2 was the last game to ever vex me. The 3rd and 4th time was in Thief 1 during the mission "Down in the Bonehoad" Where one had to get the horn of Quintus. (Back then, health bars was not much used.
That larger mother-humper just did not want to die before i did. The 2nd time was when i had to kill the first boss in Duke Nukem 3D. First time was when i played "System shock" the first time WAY back when 8-16bit gfx was like the top of what a computer could pull, and MS-Dos was the king of operating systems. but again, i have only had maybe 4 moments in total where i was genuinly scared in a game. I suppose i try think of it as if RL You don't have perfectly timed dynamic music playing in your ears if you were to sneak through a place like in Outlast, so why the hell do i have it in games?Īgain: Music makes me aware and alerts me to possible moments of "WTF?!?". I find it more scary to turn off the music as it leaves me unaware of weather i have been seen or not or more so how close the enemy is and the like. Suspensfu music just makes more aware of what's to come. I had the same feeling with FEAR games and many other supposedly scary games. Rofl, games don't "scare" me, i played through outlast and only went like "AAHH!" for less then a second while making a spazz move throughout my body when a jumpscare happened, beyond that, i personally found the game rather tame.
